Hiring process

Apply online

  • Check if your qualifications match the qualifications in the job description.
  • Fill out each section of the online application.
  • Complete all supplemental questions.
  • Consider all your skills and experiences.
  • Complete your application before the deadline.

Check your application status

Applications reviewed

  • Once you submit your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email immediately.
  • After the application deadline, Human Resources review applications for minimum qualifications for the job. We may do additional screenings.
  • You’ll get an email stating whether or not you’re moving ahead in the process. This usually happens within one week after the application deadline.

Interview scheduled and conducted

  • The hiring manager reviews applications and invites candidates to interview.
  • Candidates interview for the job.

Offer made to selected candidate

  • The hiring manager makes an offer to a candidate.
  • Post-offer screening conducted for some positions.

Required checks may include:

  • Criminal background check
  • Driver’s license check
  • Psychological test
  • Drug or alcohol test
  • Language assessment for jobs requiring bilingual skills

Start employment

  • Attend new employee orientation.
  • Fill out forms for taxes, work authorization, and benefits registration.
  • Serve a probationary period for 6-12 months depending on the job or work area.
