The taskforce is made up of 11 members.
- Each commissioner appoints 1 member.
- The County Board appoints 4 members at-large.
- The County Board appoints the chair by separate resolution.
Eligibility
There are no requirements.
Term
- Commissioner-appointed members term expires automatically when appointing commissioner leaves office.
- At-large members
- Four-year term.
- No term limit.
- Reapplication required.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze detail data from staff.
- Read, study and, discuss data.
- Keep current by attending meetings and department briefings.
- Participate in group discussions and express viewpoints candidly.
- Submit a recommended annual capital budget and a 5-year capital improvement program.
Meetings
The task force meets an average of 10 times a year. Generally, June through August.
Tour county facilities as needed.
Compensation
- $50 per meeting.
- Parking is provided.
- No reimbursements.
