Eden Prairie Road bridge improvements
County Road 4 in Eden Prairie
Hennepin County is reconstructing the Eden Prairie Road bridge (County Road 4) from Hillcrest Lane to Baywood Lane. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2027.
About the project
When this project is complete, the Eden Prairie Road bridge will be safer and easier to use for everyone. Improvements include:
- A new bridge with one lane of traffic in each direction
- New shared use paths on both sides of the road for people who walk, bike, and roll
- A new crosswalk at Baywood Lane on the south side of the intersection to shorten the crossing distance for people who walk, bike, and roll. We will remove the existing crosswalk on the north side of the road.
