Bring gently used items you no longer need. Take home stuff you can use. Swap it – for free.

Swap-it events are a fun, sustainable way to reduce waste, share resources, build community, and support local reuse efforts. You don’t have to bring anything to take something home. Everyone is welcome to participate.

• Air fryers, crock pots, pressure cookers, rice cookers (must include lid)
• Bakeware including cookie sheets and muffin tins
• Blenders, food processors, and mixers
• Coffee makers (must be free from buildup)
• Cookware including pots and pans (non-stick items must have minimal or no scratching)
• Countertop appliances including air fryers, blenders, coffee makers. crock pots, food processors, mixers, pressure cookers, rice cookers (must have all parts)
• Dishes including plates and bowls
• Drinkware including cups, glasses, mugs, reusable to-go beverage containers
• Food preservation equipment including canning supplies, dehydrators, and vacuum sealers
• Food storage containers (must include lids)
• Kitchen decor including wall art and accents
• Kitchen linens including cloth napkins, placemats, tablecloths, towels (no stains or holes)
• Knives, knife blocks, cutting boards
• Mixing bowls
• Platters, serving trays
• Utensils including cutlery, chopsticks, spatulas, tongs, peelers, and whisks

Not accepted

• Broken, cracked, rusted, excessively scratched, nonworking, or incomplete items (missing lids, cords, etc.)
• Large items that cannot be carried by one person
• Cups or mugs with business logos
• Food
• Microwaves
• Plastic water bottles
• Single-use items such as paper napkins and plastic utensils

• Aquariums and terrariums (10 gallons or smaller) and tank accessories
• Cages, carriers, and small kennels
• Feeding and watering supplies including bowls, automated dispensers, scoops, and storage containers
• Food (unopened and not past date) including canned, kibble, pellets, seed, and treats
• Grooming supplies including brushes and combs, nail clippers, shampoos and soaps
• Harnesses and leashes
• Non-prescription medications and supplements
• Pet beds (must be free from strong odors)
• Pet clothing including sweaters, costumes, footwear (must be washed)
• Pet furniture including ramps, stairs, cat towers (5 feet or smaller)
• Pet-themed decor
• Potty training and toileting supplies (must be clean and free from pet waste)
• Small animal bedding (unopened bags only)
• Gently used and durable toys
• Transportation supplies including vehicle seat covers and restraints

Not accepted

• Broken, rusted, excessively stained, nonworking, or incomplete items
• Large items that cannot be carried by one person
• Bedding/linens not originally intended for animals including blankets and pillows
• Chemicals
• Prescription medication or food
• Rags

What to expect

• No registration required.
• Anyone can participate, and kids are welcome.
• You do not need to bring items to take items; everything is free.
• Drop off items at the welcome table where volunteers will check, weigh, and sort your items.
• Staff and volunteers are unable to help with unloading or loading items in attendee vehicles.
• Be kind. Take what you can use, leave items for other swappers.
• Some items brought into the swap may be held and set out later, so that there are items available throughout the event.

What to bring

• Any items you wish to leave for others at the swap. Items should be clean and in good working condition.
• A bag or box to carry home your new-to-you items.
