Public health clinic


We are a multilingual and multicultural clinic.

We provide:

  • Screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases
  • HIV testing
  • Disease intervention and partner notification services
  • Community outreach
  • Tuberculosis control services
  • Refugee health screening
  • I-693 Immigration exams
  • Adult immunizations
  • MMR and other childhood immunizations
  • Family planning services
  • Harm Reduction services including syringe exchange and Narcan
  • Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) services

Access part of your electronic medical record online through MyChart.

Testing and treatment for sexual health can be done at Red Door Clinic.

Hours, appointments and referrals

Hours

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 612-543-5555. For same-day appointments, we recommend calling early morning. 

Referrals

The tuberculosis control program accepts clients by referral. We don't provide routine screening for work or school.

Get immunizations

Prepare for your visit

  • If you are younger than 18, you must come with a parent or legal guardian for immunizations.
  • Bring your immunization records with you to the clinic.

Travel vaccinations

Eligibility 

  • Adults 18+ with or without insurance (public or private). 
  • Children who are uninsured or who have public insurance. 
  • Children who have private insurance are not able to receive immunizations at the Public Health Clinic.

COVID-19 vaccinations

Vaccines are by appointment only.

Available vaccine types

  • Monovalent Pfizer: 6 months to 4 years
  • Monovalent Pfizer: 5 years to 11 years
  • Monovalent Pfizer: 12 years and up

Who can get COVID-19 vaccinations

  • Anyone ages 6 months to 18 years; parental consent needed
  • Anyone ages 18+

Parking, transportation and payment

Parking and transportation

We offer clients free parking vouchers for the HCMC parking ramp on 6th and Portland.

Payment

No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. We will apply a sliding scale for services and accept:

  • Most forms of insurance
  • Self-pay
