Disability parking certificate

This certificate is for people with disabilities. The duration and fee depend on your disability.

The certificate goes with you in any vehicle you're riding in.

We can also issue a certificate to places that transport people with disabilities.

Only hang the certificate on the rear-view mirror when parked.

You can also get a disability license plate.

Fees

Determine the fee based on duration needed.

• Temporary - 1 to 6 months: $5
• Short-term - 7 to 12 months: $5
• Long-term - 13 to 71 months: no fee
• Permanent - valid for 6 years: no fee and renewable
• Organization certificate - valid for 3 years: $5

Application

Complete the disability parking application (PDF, 1MB).

Your medical provider must complete and sign the health professional medical statement section.

Submit application

You can submit your application and payment by mail, drop-off or in person.
