Make an appointment
- You cannot make an appointment more than four weeks in advance, due to staffing shortages.
- One service per appointment. If two services are needed, schedule two appointments, etc.
- If your preferred location is not available, try another.
- Schedule appointment.

The lockers are outside of the building next to the main entrance.

Lockers are available 24 hours a day.
Pick up
We'll contact you when your work is ready. You'll receive an access code with instructions for getting your completed items from a locker.
Payment options
We accept the following types of payment for services:
- Cash for in-person transactions only
- Check made payable to Hennepin County Treasurer
- You'll be charged $30 for a stop payment or cancelled check.
- Money order made payable to Hennepin County Treasurer
- Credit or debit cards for in person and over the phone: Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, and American Express are accepted:
- A 2.15% convenience fee will be charged for all DVS transactions (title transfers, vehicle registrations, driver’s license, and ID services).
- A 2.49% charge for all other transactions.
When applicable, additional payment options for online and/or fax transactions are described with each specific service.
